FAMILIES AND YOUNG VISITORS
We welcome children to come and discover and enjoy Sulgrave Manor. There are free house and garden trails and activities for children to enjoy as well as an outdoor play and messy play area. Due to the size of the house, pushchairs are not permitted in the house.
ACCESSIBLE PARKING AND ARRIVAL
The free car park is situated approximately 150 metres from Visitor Reception. The pathway to Visitor Reception is gravel. It is possible to arrange closer access to the site through a side entrance – please speak to Visitor Reception when you arrive.
GROUNDS
The shop, Courtyard Hall and toilets are fully accessible. The accessible toilet is situated in the North Courtyard. Sulgrave Manor is a rural site and as such some areas around the grounds are uneven. There are gravel paths around the site.
THE HOUSE
Sulgrave Manor is an historic house set over two floors. Access to the house without steps is available in the Great Hall and Kitchen. Please speak to a member of the team for more information.
THE GARDEN
There is an accessible route around the gardens. Pathways are mainly gravel, with some grass and paving stone.
GUIDE AND ASSISTANCE DOGS
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome in the house, garden, shop, Brewhouse and throughout the rest of the site. No other dogs are permitted so please ensure your dog is wearing its identifying jacket.
COMPANIONS AND CARERS
For visitors who would otherwise not be able to visit without a carer or companion, we offer free companion or carer tickets. If booking your visit online, please ensure the companion ticket is selected in addition to your own ticket as capacity in the house is limited to a certain number.
Please contact us for further access information or if you have any queries on 01295 760205 or email enquiries@sulgravemanor.org.uk.
