From Within The UK
By Road

Sulgrave Manor is in the village of Sulgrave just off the B4525 road from Banbury to Northampton, about 15 minutes drive from each of the roads, the A361, A5, A43 and A422 which form a diamond around it. It is a half to three quarters of an hour drive from Stratford, Warwick and Oxford and about ninety minutes from London via the M1 or M40.

By Train

The nearest station is Banbury. There are regular trains from London (Marylebone, taking about 80 minutes) and from Oxford, Birmingham, Manchester and many cross country routes. There are taxis at Banbury station and the ride takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately £13.



From Overseas

By Air

Use any of the London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton or Stansted) or Birmingham International. Alternative regional airports include East Midlands and Bristol. Please consult your travel agent for details.

By Sea

Visitors from continental Europe will be surprised at the ease of access by sea as Sulgrave is less than 100 miles (160km) from the south coast of England and the main ferry hubs of Southampton and Portsmouth. For those arriving by car using the Channel Tunnel, Sulgrave is approximately 2.5 hours from Ashford, Kent.

By Rail


The Eurostar service from Paris or Brussels terminates in London Waterloo and from there one can be in Banbury Station in less than 2 hours. From Banbury it is a short taxi ride to your welcome at Sulgrave Manor.
